Nease (FL) High School senior and MileSplit50 No. 11 ranked Rheinhardt Harrison began his Florida state postseason bid on Thursday in Jacksonville, Florida, winning the FHSAA District 4A-1 race in 15:34.30.
Harrison, the defending Class 4A state champion, ran smoothly on Thursday despite an all-encompassing downpour at the New World Golf course.
The Oregon commit ran a career best time of 14:45.00 for 5K in September at the New World Fall Spectacular.
