Talk about a photo finish.
With 50 meters left at the Alexander/Asics Invitational on Saturday in Fairburn, Georgia, Edward Blaha decided on one thing: Leave it on empty.
The Pace Academy senior began his decisive kick with moments left as he tried to chase down Denmark's Ethan Ashley.
In the end, what resulted was one of the year's best finishes.
Ashley narrowly escaped the loss as Blaha dove to the line and both came across in near identical times.
The difference?
0.01 seconds.
Ashley secured the win in 15:18.18, while Blaha's official time was 15:18.19.
