Connor Ackley of Hilliard Davidson (OH) led the way at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, New York.
Ackley was one of three boys to break 15 minutes for 3 miles at this meet. He clocked a 14:44.3 to grab the title.
Meanwhile, Luke Ondracek of Walsh Jesuit (OH) finished second in 14:50.7 and Saratoga Springs' (NY) Ryan Bush finished third in 14:53.9.
Ackley's efforts helped Hilliard Davidson grab the team title with a 15:36 average and with 69 points over Corning's 92.
The sophomore earned a 192 speed rating while Ondracek earned a 190 and Bush earned a 189 speed rating for their efforts.

Sarah Lawson of Corning (NY) led teammate Faithe Ketchum and Sierra Doody of Webster Schroeder (NY) in the girls premier race. Lawson was the only girl to dip under 18 minutes for 3 miles.
Corning won the team title over Shenendehowa, which earned 94 points. Corning scored 76 points as its five scoring runners finished in the top 34.
Lawson clocked a 17:50.80 and earned a 134 speed rating for her performance. Ketchum crossed the finish line in 18:26.00 and Doody finished a second behind her in 18:27.40.
