Bluegrass United Home School (KY) freshman Cooper Wasson has posted some impressive marks so far this season.
He has the nation's leading freshman boys 5K time from the Tiger Run. He ran 15:28.60 to place third at that meet.
He also ran a 16:14.00 to place third at the Central Kentucky Run for the Gold. On the track last spring, Wasson was also the Kentucky Middle School Dream Mile champion, with a personal best performance of a 4:41.33.
