Recruiting news is light for the moment as we await for college commitments to pour in. With those decisions on the way, we opted to look at results from the most recent outdoor track season, specifically in the pole vault.
As we scoured through the rankings and the results, one thing became overwhelmingly clear: The pole vault could have numerous all-time talents available to college coaches from the Class of 2022.
When looking at this past outdoor track season, we saw Margaretta's (OH) Kenna Stimmel, Del Norte's (CA) Allison Leigh and Holy Names Academy's (WA) Allison Nieders all clear 14-feet or higher. That is a huge milestone in the pole vault world.
But just how massive of a milestone?
When looking at MileSplit's archives, 22 girls -- including the three names mentioned above -- have cleared 14-0 or higher. And the crazies...
