The promising young career of Victor Jaimez-Solorio just keeps getting better and better.
The 10-year-old from Compton, California won his third straight national 1,500m title this past Thursday at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Humble, Texas, running a new AAU record of 4:46.84.
That followed his win in the 800m earlier in the week, when he ran 2:22.46 to claim the 10-year-old age category on Wednesday.
Solorio now has six AAU Junior Olympic Games titles over the past three seasons. He first began running in 2018 as an 8-year-old, where he ran times of 2:32.47 and 5:07.14, respectively.
While Solorio has years ahead of him, the California native is already forging a pretty stellar career for his age, and he continues to shine as one of AAU's brightest talents moving forward.
