The NCAA Championships are now wrapped up and there is plenty to talk about. However, when it comes to recent recruits, we wanted to take a step back and evaluate how some of these former high school stars fared on the national stage...


Brandon Miller (Texas A&M)

The Aggie freshman almost didn't qualify for the finals in the 800m after an aggressive pacing approach in the preliminary rounds. Luckily, that aggressive approach worked in the finals as Miller ran alongside USC's Isaiah Jewett, taking the first 400m out in a little over 50 seconds.

Ultimately, Miller would settle for a narrow runner-up finish, posting an incredible time of 1:44.97 for 800 meters. For perspective, no collegiate other than Jewett ran faster than that all year long.
