Hawaii State Championships (HI): MileSplit State Page
GSL/ CBBN Region Championships (WA): 3A Championship: US#3 Shadle
Park won the team championship with 43 points despite resting several varsity runners. The individual title goes to North Central freshman Katie Knight who won in 18:12. Shadle looks ahead to next weeks state championships and a showdown with Glacier Peak. US#10 North Central rolls behind the individual victory of Ben Johnston who traversed the 5000 meter course in 15:23. Scoring 23 points North Central had all seven runners in the top 12 places. North Central ran a 15:56 average over the 5K course and a 1:02 1-5 spread. 4A Championship: US#9 Ferris prevails with 32 team points and a 15:59 5k average. Adam Thorne was the individual champion in 15:44. Ferris ran a 12 second spread 2-5. Richland wins the girls team championship with 68 points. District I Championship (2A, 3A, 4A) (WA): 4A Championship: Running in a torrential down pour, muddy, US#1 Henry Jackson boys score 21 points to claim team title. Running a 25 second 1-5 spread Henry Jackson was paced by individual champion Blake Nelson who won in 16:17.78. Speaking with Jackson head coach Eric Hruschka, "Blake ran great at Sunfair and great today, hopefully we will be ready next week. But we are proud that we have five guys who could be #1 on our team at any given day." "Our focus today was to run as a pack, stay together, and to have fun. The rain was insane and the guys loved it and had alot of fun in the mud and rain." "Our score was the best in probably a decade matching Ferris record yesterday." 3A Championship: Glacier Peak girls score 16 points to claim the team title with a 19:25 average over the 5000 meter course. Utah State Championships (UT): US#8 American Fork claims the 5A Championship as well as the overall boys title with a 79:32 total team time. The team time was almost a minute faster than '08 champion Alta's 80:24 meet record. Led by individual champion Austin West (15:23), the cavemen placed four in the top 15 places. American Fork scores 36 points in 5A team scoring; in combined all-division scoring American Fork still places 4 in the top 15 and wins by over 100 points with 62 points to 4A Champion Mountain Views 151.5! In girls action American Fork finally prevails as the state #1 program winning the 5A team championship and then in combined scoring defeats 4A Champion Mountain View 85-92.5. Wyoming Championships (WY): 4A Championship: Campbell County boys narrowly edge Laramie 78-84. Campbell County senior Spencer Pecha claims the individual crown with a 16:16.48 performance. He was followed by teammate Trevor Polson in 16:25.65 for second. The girls race feature Cheyenne Central placing all five varsity scorers in the top 20 scoring 59 points. Sheridan senior Dana Morin wins in 18:50.18. 3A Championship: New Castle boys win by two points over Jackson Hole 73-75. Jackson Hole senior Andy Phillips wins in 16:56.86. Jackson Hole would rebound to claim the girls team championship with 51 points over Powell's 61. Buffalo junior Della Lyle claimed the individual championship in 20:07. 2A Championship: This division scores the top 4 runners, Wyoming Indian scores 12 points in this format to claim the boys championship behind the legs of individual champion Caleb Her Many Horses 16:36.52. North Dakota State Championships (ND): In what may be a state record Bismarck boys team placed all varsity scorers in the top 9 places! Scoring 22 team points, Bismarck ran a 16:05 average over 5000 meters. Individual championship goes to Christian Brownotter in 15:38.64. Major statement heading into this weeks Fab-15 national rankings. Like the boys, the Bismarck girls dominate with five scorers in the top 13 places to win with 32 team points. South Dakota State Championships (SD): The Yankton boys wint he team championship over Brandon Valley 58-69. Running a 16:51 5k average Yankton placed all five scorers in the top 20. Individual championship goes too Sioux Falls Washington senior Josh Heitkamp who blazed the 5k course in 15:46.42. In girls championship action, Yankton wins narrowly over Sioux Falls Roosevelt 61-69. Sturgis Brown junior Madeleine Takahashi wins the girls championship with a 14:57.59 4k performance. Meet Page

Nebraska State Championships (NE): Aubree Worden, Scottsbluff, was the fastest girl on the day, out of the Girls B Race, with a time of 14:45.4. Jarren Heng, Norfolk Catholic, won the Boys C Race with a 16:05.44, the fastest time of the day. Norfolk Catholic won the C Race in dominating fashion, with 27 points for their 4th title in a row. That feat hadn't been accomplished in the C Race since Morrill won 4 in a row from 1979-1982, and despite the history of many dominating teams in the other divisions, it was only the second time ever that a Nebraska boys team has won 4 state championships in a row. Oklahoma 2A/3A State Championships (OK): Class 2A: Watonga girls score 61 points ot claim team championship. Individual Champion: Coriann Hoar, Watonga, 12:26.89.
