One of the country's most improved high jumpers ran away with the National Boys Performer of the Week honor this past week.
After clearing 7-feet in the high jump at the Claudio Garcia Ram Tough Relays -- a six-inch improvement year-over-year -- Jalan Rivers (right) secured over 60-percent of the vote, leading to an easy victory in Week 12.
Rivers, who has developed his trade with the Jump Landers Track Club in Houston, followed up with a 6-10 clearance this past weekend. A big congrats goes out to Rivers on the win.
Now let's move on to Week 13 of our Indoor National Performer of the Week.
We'll have seven candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.
Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. For reference, check our Top 250 Indoor and Outdoor Performances of the Week. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
