VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- The adidas Indoor Nationals meet ended in spectacular style on Sunday with the boys 4x400m relay putting on a show.
Specifically, the boys from IMG Academy.
After all four runners had competed in several events over the course of the weekend, the team still had one more race left: The squad was preparing to chase after the 4x4 national record.
The team of Carl Hicks, Ashton Schwartzman, Jaylen Slade, and Adam Landen would ultimately come up just short of a national record, but they still posted a remarkable 3:13.33, which ranks US No. 3 all-time.
