The competition has been lights out at adidas Indoor Nationals.
And on Friday, during the seventh section of the girls championship 400 meter prelims, we were met with one of the best races of the day: Highland Tech's (NC) Lauren Tolbert vs. Neshaminy's (PA) Sanaa Hebron.
The duo squared off in a final lap that came down to the last meters.
While Hebron set the tone early, Tolbert made a move at 200m and fought off Hebron, who remained close on the North Carolina athlete's shoulder until the very end.
Both athletes qualified for the finals on Sunday.
