It has become somewhat of a staple on MileSplit over the last few years to offer some of the staff's picks ahead of national championships and elite invitationals.
We spend much of each season talking with athletes and coaches, examining performances and debating on the weekly podcast what everything means, so this often gives us a chance to have some fun.
