The group who called themselves 'WPIAL'S Finest' -- WPIAL or Western Pennslvyina Interscholastic Athletic League, is a district/league near Pittsburgh --and ran 7:50.60, which broke the old facility record of 8:04.37 previously held by Cleland St. Ignatius.
The time would also rank US No. 1 if they all ran for the same high school team.
