The most recent boys and girls editions of the MileSplit50 are out, and while it wasn't an entirely busy week of indoor high school track and field competition, there were some significant moves made by athletes.

Austin Klingler, West Jordan (UT)

Utah is back, baby! 

The indoor season took shape this past weekend at the Olympic Oval in Kearns, and Klingler, a senior at West Jordan, ran a US No. 4 performance of 48.24 seconds. 

Now, a few things. The indoor track in Kearns is slightly over 400 meters, making it an oversized indoor track, and the competition was held at 4,528 feet of altitude, but that doesn't take away from the effort.
