Greg Coplen - Valor Christian (CO)

The Eagles were able to get a fairly large amount of meets in this season, even with the circumstances around the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the team's biggest regular-season competitions included the Heritage Distance Classic, Beet Juice Invite, Jeffco 5A League Meet and the Colorado State Cross Country Championships.
In the postseason, the Eagles traveled to Indiana to compete at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions.
At the state meet, the Eagles finished in third-place behind Cherry Creek High School (CO) and Arapahoe High School (CO). Valor Christian ran with a 1:29 compression and had a 19:03 team 5K average.
The squad's biggest meet of the year was at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions, where it placed second overall by beating other nationally-ranked teams. This performance helped to show just how good Valor Christan and the state of Colorado as a whole could have been at a true national meet this season.
