The Oklahoma State women had a bit of an underwhelming 2020 cross country season.

Taylor Roe was a breakout star who finished second overall at the BIG 12 Championships, while teammate Gabby Hentemann proved to be an excellent scorer after finishing third at the same meet.

However, while the team was expected to have Molly Bornan All-American from 2019, she never toed the line. Not only that, but teammate Taylor Somers, who was also a cross country All-American in 2019, struggled and didn't seem to be at 100-percent.

In the end, the Cowgirls ended up finishing fourth overall at the BIG 12 Championships due to their lack of depth and missing low-sticks.

So why is any of that important? How does any of that relate to this year's recruiting class? 

What is important to remember as we wrap up this altered cross country season is that this fall and last winter won't count towards an athlete's NCAA eligibility.
