Consider this: Brynn Brown has not lost a race since Team XC Nationals in 2019.
It's been eight races and an incredible time trial since that day last December, when Brown was tripped up early in the race and fought her way back to 23rd overall.
But in a lot of ways, her hardships of the last year have strengthened her overall. In August, she committed to the University of North Carolina, signaling the next stage of her career.
And yet, upon arriving in Raleigh, she said she's going to work as hard as the next gal.
The Denton Guyer (TX) senior, the 2019 UIL state champion in the 1,600m and 3,200m, says she looks forward to "being at the bottom of the food chain" again and getting lost on UNC's campus in the fall.
MileSplit wanted to take a look back at her career, and so we chatted with Brown to find out about her biggest accomplishments and the challenges she's overcome.
