This past week's winner of the National Girls Performer of the Week was Crawford West of Vestavia Hills (AL). Out of 24,184 votes, she earned just over 48-percent of the vote and a total of 11,615 tallies.
On Oct. 3, Alabama's fastest runner ran a personal best of 17:34.29 for 5K at the "Large Schools" Jesse Owens Classic 2020. The junior, who has the No. 33 fastest 5K time in the country, crossed the finish line three seconds ahead of Maryville's Andie-Marie Jones.
A big congrats goes out to Crawford on the honor.
