When you think of the University of Alabama, you probably think football. 

However, another sports team has begun to find a significant amount of success in Tuscaloosa. 

The men's track and field team.

Last spring, the Crimson Tide men finished 10th at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which followed an eighth-place team finish at indoors in 2019. And so it has become clear that the men have found a way to become one of the best teams in the country -- and not only in the very competitive SEC.

That narrative has only grown stronger with the recruits they've brought in. 

Let's take a look at Alabama's incoming distance group, a young contingent that consists of some of the more underrated talents in the country.

Garrett Suhr, out of Richard Montgomery High School (MD), has been one of the better distance runners in the Mid-Atlantic region for years now.
