Which high school athletes were the best performers all-time across more than one event?
Today we're continuing our series with the all-time best performers between 3,200 and 5,000 meters.
One name stood out on the boys end: Dathan Ritzenhein.
The 2001 Rockford (MI) High School graduate had an absolutely legendary career at the two distances, authoring times of 8:43.32 and 13:44.70, respectively, before going on to a distinguished career at the University of Colorado and later a professional career.
But No. 2 on the list? He's of recent accomplishment and familliar to our audience. No surprise, it's defending NXN champion and indoor national 3,000 meer record holder Nico Young.
