SAN TAN VALLEY, ARIZONA -- A negative split over the final two laps, and a blistering final 300 meters, gave Tully (NY) High School's Brooke Rauber an impressive win on Friday at the Desert Dream Last Hurrah Invitational.
Rauber closed in 66 seconds to post a winning time of 4:48.05, while Skyline's (UT) Carlee Hansen was second in 4:49.05 and Mountain View's (ID) Lexy Halladay was third in 4:49.27.
