In our latest interview with athletes during this very odd time in America, Cory chats with Katy Cinco Ranch (TX) junior Amelia Flynt -- who was ranked US No. 2 in the shot put with a PR of 47 feet, 0.5 inches before the quarantine hit -- and her younger brother, Ian, who competed in an Internet Invitational over the weekend. The promising duo document how the competition took place and how exactly the virtual competition made them feel. The pair also detail how the coronavirus is impacting their high school -- and junior high -- seasons, and just how they have plans to get through this weird stretch of training. Side note: Amelia was also ranked US No. 7 in the discus with a PR of 152-3 before the season's postponement.
