3. A Star Season For Marlee Starliper

Northern High School's (PA) Marlee Starliper is among one of the strongest female distance classes there's been in sometime, and this indoor season she set herself apart from them all.
The entire season she never shied away from a challenge, but then also met the occasion every time she stepped on the track.
The North Carolina State signee clocked the sixth-fastest 1,500m (4:19.40) en route to the fifth-fastest mile (4:37.76) and then posted the fourth-fastest 3K (9:07.14) of all-time.
She never lost a race the entire season.
Her season was hands down one of the best from a high school girls distance athlete. Watch her race the 1000m at the VA Showcase above.
