Athletes To Watch: Nathan Cooper (Dothan, AL)
Breakdown: Cooper currently has the country's fifth-best shot put throw in the country with a best of 60-10.5. He's one of eight boys to go over the 60-foot barrier in 2020. And that mark represented a huge PR for Cooper, whose previous best was 59-7.5 from the week before. Cooper's made massive gains year-over-year, though, and if his technique is smooth in the circle, he has a chance to put more feet on that overall best. The current US No. 1 mark right now is 63-3.
