LANDOVER, MARYLAND -- It has not taken Juliette Whittaker long to make a statement in 2020.
The Mount De Sales (MD) sophomore currently owns three US No. 1 times in the 1,500m, mile and 3,200m and one more US No. 2 effort in the 800m.
While it's early in the season, it hasn't been surprising. Whittaker's benchmark cross country season led to an appearance at Foot Locker Nationals and an All-American finish in 13th-place in San Diego.
Just a month later, she's been savage on the track, putting down bests of 2:07.54, 4:26.59, 4:44.75 and 10:23.14.
Her latest effort -- this 10:23.14 time at the Montgomery Invitational -- was another indication that Whittaker is in elite form among the athletes in the Class of 2022 and among her peers nationally.
Stay tuned for more from the Maryland star this year.
