At the VHSL Group 4A State Indoor T&F Championships, last week Heritage High School's (VA)
Madison Whyte ran the fastest freshmen 300m time of the year. Her time of 37.81 is also the second-fastest freshmen 300m all-time. Whyte is only behind Run U Xpress Track Club's (NC) Kayla Davis who set the freshman class record at the 2020 USATF Indoor Track & Field Championships.
