* Zofia Dudek finished second at Foot Locker Midwest

Zofia Dudek continued her torrid run of form in cross country on Saturday, finishing fifth overall at the European U20 Cross Country Championships in Lisbon, Portugal for Poland's junior team.
Dudek, who attends high school at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, ran the 4K course in 14:22.
The Michigan-based athlete and Stanford University signee chose to decline an automatic birth to Nike Cross Nationals, an annual national championship featuring some of the best domestic talent in the United States, for the chance to run for her country. Her father, Maciej, is a traveling professor currently working with the University of Michigan.
But Dudek has been impeccable in 2019 thus far. She won her first Michigan LP Division I state championship in November, added another big win at NXR Midwest, and then qualified for Foot Locker Nationals on Nov. 30, posting a second-place finish.
Dudek remains one of Foot Locker's contenders for an individual title on December 14 at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. She's won eight races in 2019 alone.
In the boys race, recent Jacksonville Bolles graduate Charles Hicks, now at Stanford, ran for England and finished the 6K course in 19:05. Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen won in 18:20.
Arlington (MA) graduate Ryan Oosting, also currently at Stanford, was 61st.
