Pomperaug (CT) High School junior Kate Wiser won National Performer of the Week honors for the period of October 21-27 following her record-breaking effort at the CIAC Divisional L Championships in 17:39.00.
The Connecticut junior, who followed this week with a runner-up performance at the CIAC Open State Cross Country Championships, will continue her season at Foot Locker Northeast, where she will hope to qualify for her second national competition.
A big congrats goes out to Wiser on the NPOTW win.
