Analysis: Anderson had a great 2018 cross-country season overall but an even stronger finish. During the regular season, the rising senior won three meets and then went on to win the PIAA Class AAA State Championships over North Allegheny senior Zachary Kinne. Anderson's biggest accomplishments came in the postseason when he clocked a 15:38.60 at Foot Locker Northeast Regionals to place sixth and punch his ticket to nationals. At the national meet, he placed 29th overall and ranks as the 10th-fastest returner.
