Analysis: Holland had a great 2018 cross-country season, going undefeated during the regular season to win some of the biggest meets in the Northwest. He took home an OSAA Class 5A state title (15:30.00), won the Border Clash Invitational (15:34.50), and won the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional (15:10.40). He capped off his season with a 16th-place finish at NXN (15:17.60). His races were speed rated at 184 for state, 193 for NXNNW, and a 194 for NXN. Holland continued to impress on the track, running a 1:53.84 800m, a 3:46.59 1500m, an 8:50.29 2-mile, and a 4:10.11 mile. His 3200m PR of 8:51.93 was good for eighth at the Arcadia Invitational and his 8:50.29 was good for second at the Brooks PR Invitational.
