No. 4 Marlee Starliper

Notable Finishes: 13th at Foot Locker Nationals; 2nd at Foot Locker Northeast; 1st at PIAA State Championships; 1st at District 3 Championships

Analysis: Starliper had a very good regular season in 2018, and then a successful postseason, picking up her second straight All-American placement at Foot Locker Nationals. But that's not why she enters the season ranked No. 4. 

Starliper's spring suggest much more from the senior in 2019. She had two efforts under 4:40 for 1,600 meters and two more full miles under 4:43 over the outdoor season, plus a US No. 3 mark of 9:27.88 for 3,000 meters at the Pan American U20 Championships and a US No. 2 effort of 9:54.75 for 3,200 meters in May. 

Starliper has the ability to race among the top runners in the country; she just now needs to produce at the biggest meets. Last year saw the Pennsylvania star accrue three speed ratings over 150, including a personal best 159 at the Foot Locker Northeast Championship.
