Before Chloe Cunliffe graduated from high school, the West Seattle athlete did some pretty special things in the pole vault.
She cleared 14 feet as a junior.
She set a national indoor record as a senior, clearing 14 feet, 9 inches.
And she set a national outdoor record the following season, clearing 14-8.
Beyond that, Cunliffe, the younger sister of professional sprinter Hannah Cunliffe, won two straight Washington Class 3A state championships.
Before she heads off to Washington State for the start of her college career, she's in South Carolina, where she'll compete in the American Track League's elite pole vault competition, the Liberty Jump Off, on Saturday.
Check out what she had to say before the meet.
