Zachary (LA) High School junior Sean Burrell culminated his regular season in Louisiana on Saturday by defending his turf, winning the 200m and 400m runs in impressive fashion in Baton Rouge.
Burrell, the defending champion at both distances, surged away from Landry-Walker's Jamal Morris late in the 200m, winning in a US No. 3 time of 20.79 seconds (above). John Curtis junior Corey Wren, one of the state's top runners entering the championships, scratched.

Burrell also secured a victory in the 400m in 46.52 seconds, winning by over a second. Check out the race below.
