* Virginia prep Taylor Beard became the first girls athlete in 43 years to clear 6-feet this weekend

Prommyse Hoosier had a great start to her senior season this past week, producing a leap of 20 feet, 4 inches in the long jump to win at the Red Devil Inferno Classic. 

That mark prompted voters nationwide to give Hoosier the country's National Performer of the Week nod, with the Indiana prep logging over 46-percent of the vote to win. 

A big congrats goes out to Prommyse on the recognition!
