Breakdown: The Clemson recruit is looking to drop time to open her season in the hurdles. And Carter's got legit speed. A season ago she ran an all conditions 100m time of 11.70 seconds and 24.63 for 200m before moving on to finish fourth overall at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in the 100mH, posting a time of 13.49 in the prelims.
Nationally, times are starting to drop consistently, with a total of 16 girls under 14 seconds thus far in the short hurdles. Carter will be eyeing her own sub-14 performance here.
