6 Athletes That Are Absolutely Crushing The Outdoor Season

Top 6 Athletes: Boling - Foster - Cooper - Davis - Strangio - Moore

Jasmine Moore, Mansfield Lake Ridge (TX)

Moore made one big adjustment this outdoor season. She went from a double-arm drive in the triple jump to a single-arm, which was a move that precipitated her enrollment at the University of Georgia, where her future coach was planning on changing up her technique. Moore figured she'd get a head start -- but she didn't realize just how big of an impact it would make on early returns.

Moore went into New Balance Nationals Indoor with just a few weeks of work on the adjustment, but finished with huge PRs of 20-9.25 in the LJ and 44-2.5 in the TJ.

The outdoor season has seen similar returns. She's jumped over 20-feet twice in the long jump -- finishing second at the Texas Relays -- and went 43-5 in the triple jump. That triple jump series included multiple efforts over 42 feet.

Moore's eyes are on bigger goals to finish her senior season. She wants to break the triple jump national record of 44-11.75, which was last achieved in 2004 and is held by Brittany Daniels. Beyond that, the Texan also would like to get more consistent over 21 feet in the long jump.

So far, those returns are already showing off.
