Analysis: This race will feature the current top four teams in the nation. New Jersey's Union Catholic has the current US No. 1 mark with their 11:59.38 from the 85th Eastern States Championships meet, but the other teams are not far off. New York's North Rockland is currently sitting at US No. 2 with a time of 12:00, and Strath Haven and Brentwood are only two and three seconds behind North Rockland.
One factor which could potentially set the Red Raiders apart from the other teams is having distance stud Katelyn Tuohy on its anchor leg. With her 4:39.15 mile speed, she can make up quite a bit of difference if her team has fallen behind when she gets the stick.
