If you've followed track long enough you know Western Branch (VA) has a history of running well in the hurdles.
On Friday January 4 at the CNU's High School Showcase Western Branch's Shadajah Ballard continued to show off the team's hurdle talents.
The senior clocked in a new US No. 1 time in the 55mH running 7.81.
Shadajah's sister Na'Taja Ballard, who is only a sophomore, placed second just behind her sister running 8.06 for a new US No. 10 mark and the top time in the sophomore class.
Western Branch High School currently also holds the US No. 1 mark in the 4x55m shuttle hurdle relay (SHR) with its 32.91 from the Marine Corps Holiday Classic.
