Paige Mcdaniel out of Wellsville proves she is a very strong universal runner. After having won the 3A 400m and 800m races and finishing in 6th in the 200m her sophomore year in 2017, Mcdaniel won the 800m and 1600m events this year and was a part of Wellsville's state medaling 4x800m and 4x400m. Mcdaniel qualified for the 3A state cross country meet every year of her cross country career. Mcdaniel is probably one of the most universal athletes we currently have in Kansas HS Track and Field.
