The Oklahoma Class 5A-6A State Championships was this past Saturday in Edmond, Oklahoma, at J.L. Mitch Park. The boys 6A race had a crazy close battle for the win. Mustang High School's (OK) Gabe Simonsen held off Deer Creek High School's (OK) Steven Clark to win the 6A Boys state championship with a time of 16:22.2; Clark ran a 16.22.9.
