In a big MileSplit50 individual ranked matchup, Fort Worth Christian's Carter Cheeseman came out on top winning in a down-to-the-wire finish against Fayetteville's (AR) Camren Fischer.

Great American XC Festival Girls Race
MileSplit50 No. 2-ranked Kelsey Chmiel added another win to her belt on Saturday running the third-fastest all-time time at the WakeMed Soccer Complex course. The Saratoga Springs (NY) senior ran 16:43.8. The only athletes ahead of her are Cornwall (NY) graduate Aisling Cuffe, who has the meet record at 16:40.9, and Leesville Road (NC) graduate Nevada Mareno who ran the course record of 16:36.18 at the CAP 8 Conference Championship in 2015.
Also racing well for third place was Holy Trinity Academy's Carly McNatt. The eighth grader won the Floridarunners.com Invitational just last weekend and follows it up by running 17:35.40 in North Carolina.
