The National Performer of the Week is here again, and yet again we're combining both the boys and girls polls. Major invitationals will come into focus in September, but in the meantime, many teams are still gearing up for the season.
A big congratulations goes out to Brynn Brown, who won last week's performer of the week. The sophomore from Denton Guyer (TX) High School dropped a fantastic debut at the Little D Classic, crossing the finish in a time of 18:08.20 to win her first race of the season.
She garnered 50-percent of the vote and over 1,400 votes. So big ups to Brynn on the win.
