Analysis: Haddonfield Memorial won the NJSIAA Group 2 Championship in 2017, scoring 53 points with a 40-second 1-5 split and 16:55 average. They then went on to place sixth at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions scoring 178 points. The entire top five from that squad and six of their top seven return in 2018. Their top guy at both Groups and the M of C was rising junior Martin Riddell. Greg Eisenhower, who will be a senior this fall, appears to be their strong second runner. With so many returnees from 2017, Haddonfield is poised to contend again not just in New Jersey but in the the NXN Northeast Region. If you had to pinpoint a flaw, it would be lack of national-level meet experience. In 2017, the team finished 12th at the NXN Northeast Region meet. Based on the MileSplit database it appears it was their first time ever competing in the national qualifier.
