This past Saturday at the VISAA Championships in Richmond, Virginia, Stonebridge School (VA) freshman Hope Frost won not one but two VISAA state titles. One of her titles came in the 1600m, where she had a crazy last 100m kick.
Frost was leading for almost the entire race until the last lap. On the backstretch, the Covenant School's (VA) Ella Dalton made a big push to take the lead. The two battled around the curve with Dalton with coming out ahead. Watching the video it looked like Frost might be done, but just when you start to think that she hits another gear.
