The Dish: Ruotolo routinely started hitting over 40 feet as a junior -- when she wasn't competing for Mater Dei. The high school senior decided to compete outside the high school system for her junior year and work privately with a coach, but that position only aided in her development. As a senior, Ruotolo has returned to Mater Dei and has gotten even better. Now one of California's top triple jumpers is hitting over 41 feet and could look to make a play for 42 feet and beyond by the postseason. She's currently being recruited by some big-time programs, though Ruotolo might be leaning close to home with the Trojans.That is unless other programs -- late charges have come from the Ducks and the Sooners -- make late pushes for her talents.
