Boys 1-Mile
Thompson is likely the favorite here, having run the distance three times in 2018, including a top effort and indoor PR of of 4:10.63.
But don't overlook Horter, who's coming off his last cross country race in January in Edinburgh, Scotland, for Team USA, and will be looking to drop a quality time. His outdoor best from last spring at Brooks PR was 4:07.82 and his best at 1600m from the Ohio season was 4:10.77, so it will be interesting to see if the Indiana signee strikes a solid showing around those efforts.
Schadler, one of the top distance talents in Indiana hailing from Evansville High, is also entered here and will provide solid competition.
