Friends Central (PA) High's Gabrielle Wilkinson ran a new U.S. No. 1 time in the 1000m at The VA Showcase. The University of Florida signee ran 2:50.35. Along with Wilkinson, Pulaski County Virgina's Grace Boone ran U.S. No. 7 2:55.51 while T.C. Roberson North Carolina's Elise Wright ran 2:55.69 for U.S. No. 8.
