Theo Woods from E.C. Glass threw down a new U.S. No. 1 time in the 1000m on Saturday at the Liberty Premier Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia. Wood's ran 2:29.72 improving on his previous best of 2:29.79.
He took the race from the gun and never looked back. In the same race, Clark Edwards from Rock Ridge High School and Sean Casey South Lakes placed second and third running U.S. No. 18 and 21.
