1. Drew Thompson, Fairfield Prep High School (CT ), Senior

Thompson had a huge postseason. After winning the CIAC State Open Championships and the New England Championships, he went on to face national competition placing seventh at Foot Locker Northeast and eighth at Foot Locker Nationals. He was undefeated in the state of Connecticut. 

2. Khalid Hussein, Wayzata High School (MN), Senior

Khalid Hussein had a big middle and end to his season after coming back from an early-season injury. He won all the meets he ran in after September 30, including his state meet where he helped his team secure the AA Boys state title. He then helped them to take home the Nike Cross Nationals Heartland Regional team title with his third-place finish. Finally, he finished 10th at NXN to cap off his senior XC season.  

3. Clayton Mendez, Whitney Young High School (OH), Senior

Clayton Mendez, much like Ohio's Conant Smith, was overlooked for most of the season due to the talent in his state. He came on strong though and had an excellent end to his season. He placed second at his state meet behind Danny Kilrea. He then tore up the region meets placing fifth at the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional and third at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional. At the national meets, he placed 18th at NXN and ninth at Foot Locker.  

4. Devin Hart, Pt. Pleasant Boro HS (NJ), Junior

The junior was undefeated up until the Foot Locker Northeast Regional, where he placed sixth. He earned wins at, Bowdoin XC ClassicNew Balance Shore Coaches Invitational, Ocean County XC Championships, and the NJSIAA XC Meet of Champions. He capped off his season with a 10th-place finish at Foot Locker Nationals. 

5. Duncan Hamilton, Bozeman High School (MT), Junior

Hamilton placed no lower than third his entire season. One of his biggest races of the year was at the Bob Firman Invitational, where he finished third in a strong field. He won the Montana State Cross Country Championships, placed second at the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest meet, and 11th at Nike Cross Nationals.

6. Peter Morris, Loudoun Valley (VA), Senior 

Peter Morris was on and off the Flo50 rankings all year, battling with his own teammate Sam Affolder for the title of best runner in Virginia. He was second to Affolder for much of the year but had a huge race at NXN to place 12th and help his team take home the title. 

7. Chad Johnson, Colonel Crawford (OH), Senior

Johnson was in the mix all year as one of the top guys from Ohio. He had big wins at Tiffin Cross Country Carnival and the OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championships. He finished off his season strong with a sixth-place finish at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional and then an 11th-place finish at Foot Locker Nationals.
