The Fall Cross Country MileSplit USA All-Americans

1. Aidan Troutner, Timpview (UT), Senior

Aidan Troutner had an outstanding season, posting wins at every meet he raced except the UHSTCA Pre-Foot Locker Invitational, where he finished second. His biggest wins were at the Utah state meet, the Nike Cross Nationals South Regional, and his win at NXN. At the Utah state meet, he took home the Class 5A boys state title by running 14:48.80 for three miles. At the Nike Southwest Regional, he ran 14:50.00 for 5K. At NXN he executed a perfect race to take the win just in the nick of time. Overall, Troutner had an amazing season earning him the No. 1 spot on the All-American list. 

2. Brodey Hasty, Brentwood XC Club (TN), Senior

Brodey Hasty only ran four races all year, but he made them count. He crushed college fields at both the adidas XC Challenge and Furman Gene Mullin Invitational then went on to win the Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional in meet record time -- 14:36. He fell just short of his ultimate goal of winning NXN but still came away with a very solid and respectable second place to the nation's best. 

3. Liam Anderson, Redwood High School (CA), Junior

4. James Mwaura, Lincoln Senior High School (WA), Senior

James Mwaura had an undefeated regular season, with wins at The Bellarmine Invitational, Fort Steilacoom Invitational, and one of his biggest regular season wins at the Nike Portland XC Invite. In the postseason he was the Washington State (WIAA) Class 3A state champion, Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional champion, and Border Clash champion. In his final race at NXN he placed fourth against the best in the nation. 

5. Dylan Jacobs, Sanburg (IL), Senior

Dylan Jacobs had an outstanding season facing off against some of the best in the country week in and week out. Jacobs is from the Midwest region, which performed well at both national meets. He had two big early-season wins at the Richard Spring Invitational and the Peoria Invitational. He then went on to place sixth at the IHSA Cross Country State Championship which was one of his lowest place finishes all year. He bounced back nicely, though, qualifying for both national meets with a fourth-place finish at the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional and a fifth-place finish at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional. His season culminated with a 13-place finish at NXN but a big win at Foot Locker Nationals. 

6. Graydon Morris, Aledo (TX), Sophmore

The sophomore flew under the radar for most of the season, bouncing on and off our Flo50 bubble list. Morris was picking up wins throughout the season but was getting overshadowed by other Texas runners like Alex Maier and Carter Cheeseman. Morris continued to have big runs, though, including a win at the Texas 5A state meet and a third-place finish at Foot Locker South. His biggest run of the season and the biggest run of his career to date was placing second at Foot Locker Nationals against a loaded field. Morris should now be on everyone's mind as a possible champion of any race he's in -- as we head into this track season and beyond. 

7. Danny Kilrea, Lyons Township (IL), Senior

Danny Kilrea, much like Dylan Jacobs, was facing some of the best week in and week out in the Midwest region. Kilrea, just like Jacobs, picked up some big early-season wins at the First to the Finish Invitational and the West Suburban Silver Conference Meet. He had a big run to win the IHSA Cross Country State Championship. After that, he took second in the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional behind Lakota East's (OH) Dustin Horter and first at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional. He was top five in both national meets, placing fifth at NXN and third at Foot Locker Nationals.
